Miller Bros. Old Abandoned Store

This old store is located in Broaddus, Tx. Broaddus is located at the intersections of FM 1277, FM 83, and SH 147 southwest of San Augustine. As usual a station was established in 1904 for the St. Louis Southwestern Railway and the town prospered. Years later with the discontinuation of the railway in the 1930's the town's population fell and businesses closed. Miller Bros. abandoned store is one of these. Just think of all these towns that once thrived with the railway and now today are defunct.
