This old Plymouth nestled under an old building located in the Mankin Community began in the late 1800's and named after a family of the area. Mankin was headquarters for the old D.S. Dudley Wild West Circus for over half of a century. Dick "Cheyenne" Dudley a prize winning bronc rider purchased the show in 1914 and later after a tour in WWI married Ruth Wolf and together they traveled the southwest with the show. Mankin is actually listed as a ghost town of Texas. |
