Sam Starkey and Janie Barber, a couple of freelance photographers, drive the back roads of their home state of Texas continuously searching for that next photograph. Upon occasion, they do make other road trips outside the state. Their tastes pretty much concur along the documentary line reaching out for that certain subject which draws on their emotions and feelings. However, at times there may be a mundane or humorous photo slipped in somewhere and not in every instance will the same subject appeal to the other one'e eye.

Traveling together they see some of the same subject matter but what is so unique about it is each of them as an individual with their own creativity, will capture it in an altogether different way. The majority of their compositions are black and white but some color photos may appear from time to time in their portfolio. Both use digital cameras and just their provided computer camera programs. Also, most of the time in each photograph "what you see is what you get" except for some occasional power lines if and when they can be omitted.

Sam and Janie invite you to travel with them on their road trips via their portfolio or videos and if you should see a photograph or video that appeals to you and your emotions why not order it.
